KEEP FIT THE AGE OLD WAY - YOGA

Stretching and flexibility are 2 important attributes which can be achieved through our ancient wisdom of Yoga. Suryanamaskar is an allround Exercise Which targets to build Stretching and flexibility to all parts of the body.Doing this activity early in the morning has a lot of benefits including recharging and rejuvenating your day .

There are 12 postures or asanas which have to be repeated in sets.Performing this 12 asanas twice with each leg makes one set .You can perform these sets according to your comfort/capacity. Start with 3 sets at least and later increase the count as you build up stamina.

There are many other yoga asanas like Pashchimottasana, Halasana, Gomukhasana, Saravngasana etc,which help you build this flexibility as well. It is advised to learn from an expert Yoga practitioner if you are a beginner . Once you get hold of the right postures and the breathing techniques you can perform these asanas at home independently. Teaching your children Yoga is the best foundation you can give them to develop a serene personality , along with physical benefits they provide.
