There are 4 aspects to fitness, Strength, Stamina, Strecthing and Stability. Each and every different type of exercise attributes to these aspects in one way or another..
Especially strength building exercises help in providing a strong support to our muscles, building them up and giving strong structure around your skeleton. These exercises can target your upper body, core muscles (upper and lower) , lower back, and legs. The strength around these areas help your perform your daily activities with ease and avoid any pain due to repetitive stress of performing same activities everyday like household chores.
These activities can help your child develop a strong muscular stature and grow as a toned adult. They also assist in building up a strong body compostion in their formative years.
Few examples are Squats, Planks,Lunges Setubandasana(bridge pose) , Resistance band streches . They can be a fun activity with children when it’s taken as a Challenge!! It’s worth seeing that urge to win on your child s face, apart from all the wonderful benefits they provide to your health.
