
REST AND RELAX FOR A HEALTHY LIVING

The third pillar for optimal health his Rest(R). One form of rest is having a good amount of sleep everyday for at least 6 to 7 hours as adults, so that our physical body gets enough energy from the cosmos to rejuvenate itself and get ready for the next day.
Of course children need to rest more, as most of the times they are physically much more active than us as adults. They do a lot of physical activity in school as well as once they are back home in the form of games played with their friends. They require a good amount of 8 to 10 hours of sound sleep everyday. This will also help them in their tissue repair and growth in their formative years.
One of the important tip I would like to share is to have early dinner between 7 to 8:00 PM and hitting the bed early as a family so that your child gets enough amount of good rest for the physical body to start the next day fresh .As the saying goes “Early to bed early to rise makes a Man Healthy, Wealthy and Wise “.
As parents we have to live this proverb for your children to look at your actions and follow you!!
