WHAT IS THE APPROPRIATE AGE TO BEGIN WITH THE TRAINING OF CHILDREN?
Science and religions are of the belief that the training of a child begins right from mother’s womb. In an experiment conducted between 1991-1993, the mothers were made to listen to a specific music while they were carrying the child in their womb. Later when the same music was played to the children it was noticed that they were at ease upon hearing it and were familiar to it. When some other music was played, they were seen to be irritated. Ms. Patricia. K. Kuhl, Professor at Washington University, researched under Bezos Family Foundation, the psychology of infants, and proved that children can hear when they are in the mother’s womb. A child in the womb starts hearing from the 23rd week of its conception. Since it has been proved that a child can hear in the womb, it is also evident in the research that the interest, activities and mental functioning of the expectant mother reflects on the child. It is very much common in some developed countries that ladies are made to solve math problems during pregnancy. The liveliness and calmness with which a mother is during her pregnancy the brain of the child will also be developed accordingly. In the light of the above two discussions it is very clear that a child’s training should begin right from the time when it is in the mother’s womb.
A child’s parenting and training begins even before conception.
The style of Israeli mothers:
The refrence is available on Google under reference of Dr. Stephen Carr Leon. Dr. Stephen writes that when he went to Israel for higher studies in Medicine, he thought of researching as to "Why the Jews are with intelligent minds and with innovative abilities?" What is the secret behind parenting that they own the largest trading companies in the world? Why Jews scientists are proportionally higher to their population in the list of scientists? Why is it? This question was slamming Dr. Stephen’s mind. To find the answers he studied the life of Israeli pregnant ladies. Dr. Mehmood Siddiqui presented in his topic during seminar, the conclusion presented by Dr. Stephen through observation and research on pregnant Israeli ladies. They are as follows.
In an Israeli family, if a woman conceives, it is always an occasion for joy and celebration. It is said that they announce that the particular lady is going to present a magnificent gift to Jewish community. The pregnant lady is looked upon with more honour and dignity. Any guest visiting during pregnancy is not allowed to smoke in the house. The guests are told to smoke cigarette, not just outside but at a distance from the house as the cigarette smoke could pollute the air. If the mother breathes in such polluted atmosphere, it would have an adverse effect on the child in her womb.
The pregnant lady is kept away from all kind of physical, emotional, and psychological stress. They avoid any kind of fights or arguments in her presence. When she completes three months of her pregnancy, she is asked to solve slightly complicated mathematical problems. If the lady is not highly educated, she is made to solve at least some basics and simple mathematical problems. The expecting mother is kept happy and they keep her away from any type of stress. She is given healthy diet and made to do light exercise. The concept behind solving mathematical problem is that the working of the brain of expecting mother in answering the complex question influences intensely the child growing in the womb.
Whatever happens in the majority of our household is quite opposite to what happens in the Israeli house. In our society, educating and counselling youngsters, especially of the to be parents is extremely necessary. They should be made aware of, how their behaviour is having a effect on their own offspring and future generation.
