Krishna Janmashtami Celebrations at Various Campuses

Vasudaiva Kutumbakam, we are the family of the God.
Ashtami – the 8th day of the lunar calendar marks the birthday of the Lord. All schools celebrated Krishna Janmashtami with lots of devotion and love for the lord.
The campuses were decorated with flowers and foot prints of the little Krishna. With all the decorations the idol of RadhaKrishna was placed.
It’s time to celebrate as ‘Jagdoddhara’- the lord who saves the world is born. Various cultural activities were held to express the joy. The children of preprimary and lower primary were dressed up as little Krishna and Radha. The sight demanded thousand eyes to witness. Dance and breaking the butter pot (Dahi Handi) to imitate Krishna was the fun and enthrawling part of the day. Delicious ‘prasadam’ was distributed to everyone.
The day not only gave feast to eyes and happiness to heart but also was successful in instilling our culture and tradition.
